About the Lymphoma Research Foundation

The Lymphoma Research Foundation (LRF) is the nation's largest non-profit organization devoted exclusively to funding innovative lymphoma research and providing people with lymphoma and healthcare professionals with up-to-date information about this type of cancer.

Our goal is to change the future for everyone whose life has been affected by a lymphoma diagnosis. We are dedicated to funding biomedical research focused on the origins, treatment and identification of a cure for lymphoma; to raising public awareness of the disease, and providing support and services to people with lymphoma, their families and caregivers. 

LRF supports innovative research through Clinical Investigator Career Development Awards, Fellowships and several disease-specific research initiatives. Through its research program LRF aims to:

• Create therapies and discover cures to help patients 

• Advance our understanding of lymphoma, laying the foundation for improved patient care

• Attract and train new investigators and clinicians in lymphoma, ensuring a continuing stream of innovative and forward thinking researchers and clinicians

• Bring fresh ideas, energy and collaboration to the challenging field of lymphoma research.

Since 1992, LRF has made major contributions to the lymphoma research community, awarding more than 300 research grants totaling nearly $60 million. The foundation's volunteer Scientific Advisory Board (SAB), comprised of 45 world-renowned lymphoma experts, guides the foundation's research activities, seeking out the most innovative and promising lymphoma research projects for support.

About Team LRF

The Foundation’s community fundraising program, Team LRF, is composed of individuals committed to supporting the mission of LRF across the country. We are a community of lymphoma survivors, caregivers, friends, family members, and supporters who raise awareness and critical funds to support those affected by this blood cancer. Team LRF is big because we know a cancer diagnosis not only impacts the person diagnosed, but friends and family, too. Together, we are taking steps towards a world without lymphoma.

Since its inception, Team LRF has raised more than $20 million to support the Foundation’s mission to eradicate lymphoma and serve all those impacted by this blood cancer. Each year, thousands of volunteers across the country become members of Team LRF with a shared commitment to making an impact on the lives of those touched by lymphoma.
