Grassfield High School’s Laps for Lymphoma Walkathon is a non-profit event that celebrates cancer survivors, honors those who have lost their fight, and raises funds for the Lymphoma Research Foundation. Grassfield High School’s Student Council Association will be joined by hundreds of others on April 1, 2017 at the Carolyn F. Bernard Stadium at Grassfield High School.
Since our inaugural event in 2010, we have raised over $114,000 for the Lymphoma Research Foundation. In remembrance of those who have lost the battle, we are walking a distance of one foot to honor each life lost to lymphoma in 2016. This will be a little over four miles, or approximately 17 laps around our track.
Registration is $20 a person, which includes a Lymphoma awareness t-shirt. To guarantee a shirt registration must be submitted by Friday, March 24th. To register, please click "Join Now" and choose the $20 Registration Fee radio button. Within a few days of registering, there will be a follow-up email asking for your t-shirt size.
All profits will be donated to the Lymphoma Research Foundation.
Thank you for joining the team!
Every year, more than 80,000 people in the United States are diagnosed with lymphoma - that means every seven minutes, someone receives a lymphoma diagnosis. That is why I support the Lymphoma Research Foundation and their mission to eradicate lymphoma and serve those touched by this disease. Please help me raise money to help this great organization fulfill its mission, so that someday, we can say together that everyone seven minutes someone is cured of this blood cancer. Thank you again for your support!
